He suffered shocking wounds on 8 August 1915 and spent 8 months in hospital in Great Britain. Her returned to Australia in 1916 and led a remarkable active life as a Lawyer and died at the age of 55 from those war wounds. Light horse sword and medals.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony William Oliver, Bill\u2019s father, born November 1925 and passed away July 2007, he enlisted in WWII in 1943 in the 2\/27th Battalion and travelled to Borneo to fight the Japanese. Whilst serving his father passed away and two months later he got the chance to go home and support his mother. While he was home, the Atomic Bomb was dropped and the war ended.
