{"id":6989,"date":"2022-10-10T15:34:16","date_gmt":"2022-10-10T04:34:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gowings.com\/?page_id=6989"},"modified":"2022-10-10T15:36:04","modified_gmt":"2022-10-10T04:36:04","slug":"rights-to-receive-documents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gowingsbrosltdstaging.com.au\/gowings_stg_2023\/rights-to-receive-documents\/","title":{"rendered":"Rights to Receive Documents"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Notice of rights of members in connection with certain documents<\/h2>\n<p>Gowing Bros Ltd ABN 68 000 010 471 (Gowings) gives notice pursuant to section 110K of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Corporations Act) of the rights of members (Shareholders) to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>elect to receive or not receive certain documents; and<\/li>\n<li>make requests to be sent certain documents in physical or electronic form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Documents<\/h2>\n<p>Gowings is required to send the following documents to Shareholders, and Shareholders are entitled to receive:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>documents that relate to a meeting of Shareholders, such as a notice of meeting or proxy or voting forms;<\/li>\n<li>the Annual Report of Gowings (comprising the financial report, directors\u2019 report and auditor\u2019s report for the relevant financial year); and<\/li>\n<li>a notice of members\u2019 rights under section 110K of the Corporations Act (such as this notice), unless the notice is readily available on a website, together with any other documents prescribed by relevant regulations, (collectively, the Documents).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Your right to make an election<\/h2>\n<p>Each Shareholder is entitled to:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>elect to be sent Documents in either physical form or electronic form; and<\/li>\n<li>elect not to be sent the Annual Report of Gowings (and any other documents prescribed by the relevant regulations),<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>by notifying Gowings of the election.<\/p>\n<p>A Shareholder may make an election in relation to all Documents or a specified class(es) of Documents.<\/p>\n<p>Gowings encourages all Shareholders to receive communications to ensure that they stay informed.
