Muffin Break – Ground Floor

Food which is freshly baked and prepared on the premises every day, plus good coffee, enticed Sally and Steve into Muffin Break in Coffs Central five years ago. Since then Sally has discovered an unexpected passion for the busy cafe.

“Because my interests were in fashion and jewellery retailing, I really didn’t think I’d like working in a coffee shop, but I love it,” Sally said. “We try to provide efficient service, combined with good fresh food.

“I’m a customer person – I do front of house – and I’ve learned to get half an hour of chat into two minutes.”

Muffins may be the signature item but the kitchen produces not just many flavours of savoury and sweet muffins from bacon and egg, spinach and fetta to blueberry, banana, caramel and double chocolate; but also brownies, carrot cake, gourmet tartlets, quiches, slices, savoury pies, sausage rolls, wraps, salads & sandwiches. Muffin Break also offers gluten-free options.
